Potatoes and seasoning

  • 4 large russet potatoes Creamy and starchy, cut into wedges.
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil Rich and fruity, enhances the flavor.
  • 3 cloves garlic Minced for an aromatic kick.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese Finely grated for an irresistible crust.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning An aromatic blend for Mediterranean flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika Optional, for warmth and color.
  • to taste salt and pepper Enhances all flavors.
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley Chopped, used as garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Wash the potatoes thoroughly and cut them into wedges.
  • Pat the wedges dry with a paper towel.

Mixing

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, paprika (if using), salt, and pepper.
  • Toss in the potato wedges and coat them well.

Baking

  • Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the wedges and toss again.
  • Spread the potato wedges on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown.

Serving

  • Let cool slightly, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

For crispy results, ensure potatoes are patted dry and not overcrowded on the baking sheet. You can experiment with different seasonings or use sweet potatoes for a variation.
