Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a 9×13-inch baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom.
  • Place half of the frozen ravioli on top of the sauce.
  • Dollop half of the ricotta cheese over the ravioli.
  • Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese across the top.
  • Season this layer with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Repeat the layering process with marinara sauce, remaining ravioli, remaining ricotta, and another cup of mozzarella.
  • Top with a final layer of marinara sauce and grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Remove foil and continue baking for an additional 15-20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Allow to rest for a few minutes before garnishing with fresh basil.

Notes

Ensure layers are not too tightly packed for optimal baking. You can add sautéed vegetables for additional flavor.
