Ingredients
  

For the Chicken

  • 2 lbs chicken breasts, skinless and boneless Tender and juicy, perfectly suited to soak in the flavors.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil Adds healthy fat for rich flavor and moisture.
  • 1 tsp paprika Adds a pinch of smokiness that warms the palate.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder Brings depth to the flavor profile.
  • 1 tsp salt Enhances all the other flavors.

  • 1 cup mayonnaise or full-fat Greek yogurt The creamy foundation for the Bang Bang sauce.
  • 3-4 tbsp Sriracha The heat element that gives Bang Bang its name.
  • 2 tbsp honey A touch of sweetness to balance the spice.
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar Brightens up the sauce with acidity.
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce Adds umami depth.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder or 2 minced garlic cloves Fresh or dried, it amplifies the flavor.
  • 1/2 tsp salt For extra seasoning.
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper For additional warmth.
  • parsley for garnishing Freshness that visually enhances the dish.
  • mini wood skewers soaked in water for 20-30 minutes Keeps the kebabs intact while grilling.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the mayonnaise, soy sauce, Sriracha, honey, vinegar, garlic powder, and half a teaspoon each of salt and black pepper. Whisk until smooth and set aside.
  • In another large bowl, add the cubed chicken. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until fully coated.

Assembly and Cooking

  • Thread 3-4 pieces of the seasoned chicken onto each soaked wooden skewer.
  • Brush the kebabs with one-third cup of the prepared Bang Bang sauce and place them on the air fryer rack.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F and cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  • Serve warm, garnished with parsley and reserved Bang Bang sauce for dipping.

Notes

For the best flavors, marinate chicken in the Bang Bang sauce for at least an hour or overnight. You can also grill or bake the kebabs in a conventional oven, adjusting the cooking time as needed. Consider adding chopped vegetables for extra nutrition and color.
