Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  • Add the bowtie pasta, stirring occasionally until it reaches al dente texture.
  • Drain the pasta and set it aside.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spoon until browned.
  • Drain excess fat from the skillet.
  • Add chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion is translucent (about 3-4 minutes).
  • Stir in diced tomatoes and tomato sauce.
  • Add Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper; bring to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  • Introduce the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat each piece in the sauce.
  • Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted.

Notes
