Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar, stirring until smooth.
  • Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the mixture, stirring until well incorporated.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until a thick brownie batter forms.

Baking

  • Drop tablespoon-sized portions of the brownie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, giving them space to spread.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers remain slightly soft.
  • Let the cookies cool completely on the baking sheet after removing from the oven.

Filling Assembly

  • While the cookies are cooling, mix together the creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
