Ingredients
  

For the Salmon

  • 4 pieces salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless) Based on your preference
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

For the Honey Butter Sauce

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

For Serving

  • to taste Fresh chopped parsley For garnish
  • as needed Lemon wedges For serving

Preparation

  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the salmon fillets for 4–5 minutes on each side until golden-brown and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the unsalted butter, minced garlic, and honey. Stir until the butter melts and becomes bubbly. Add lemon juice.
  • Return the seared salmon to the skillet, spoon the honey butter sauce over them, and simmer for an additional two minutes.
  • Plate the salmon, drizzle with remaining honey butter sauce, and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For extra spice, add a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes while sautéing the garlic. Pair with sides like roasted vegetables or a fresh salad to balance the dish.
