Ingredients
  

For the Salmon

  • 4 pieces salmon fillets Rich and flaky; healthy and satisfying.
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning Adds a warm, zesty kick.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Healthy fat for cooking.
  • 1 lime juice and zest For bright, citrusy flavor.
  • salt and pepper to taste Salt and pepper Essential seasonings.

For the Avocado Lime Cream

  • 1 ripe avocado Star of the creamy topping.
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream Adds tanginess and creaminess.
  • fresh cilantro for garnish Fresh cilantro Optional; adds color and flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Rub each salmon fillet with olive oil and generously sprinkle Cajun seasoning on top.
  • Place the fillets skin-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Cooking

  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  • While the salmon is baking, in a blender, combine the ripe avocado, Greek yogurt or sour cream, lime juice, lime zest, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Once the salmon is cooked, top each fillet with a generous spoonful of the avocado crema and garnish with fresh cilantro.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra heat, add cayenne pepper to the Cajun seasoning. Experiment with fresh herbs in the cream for variation.
