  • 2 pieces ripe avocados, perfectly soft and buttery
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, bursting with sweetness and halved
  • 1/2 cup fresh mozzarella balls, soft and chewy, halved or torn
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, fragrant and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze, to add a touch of sweetness and acidity

  • Carefully slice each avocado in half and remove the pit gently. Using a spoon, scoop out a small amount of the flesh from each half to create a spacious cavity for stuffing.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the halved cherry tomatoes, fresh mozzarella balls, and chopped basil. Season the mixture with a pinch of salt and pepper and toss until evenly mixed.
  • Spoon the Caprese mixture generously into the hollowed-out avocado halves, packing it snugly.
  • Drizzle the stuffed avocados with balsamic glaze for added sweetness and tang.
  • Serve immediately to enjoy the freshest flavors and beautiful presentation.

Notes

For added flavor, experiment with different types of mozzarella, add red pepper flakes for heat, or mix in pine nuts or walnuts for crunch. Serve chilled or at room temperature for the best experience.
