Strawberries and Filling

  • 12 large large strawberries Fresh and ripe for the best flavor.
  • 8 oz cream cheese Softened to a velvety texture.
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar To sweeten the filling.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract For flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice Adds a refreshing zing.
  • 1/4 cup crushed graham crackers For topping.
  • to taste fresh mint leaves Optional garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Rinse the strawberries under cold water and pat them dry with a soft cloth.
  • Slice off the tops of the strawberries and hollow out a small portion inside using a small spoon or melon baller.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice. Beat until smooth and creamy.
  • Transfer the cheesecake filling to a piping bag or zip-top bag with the corner snipped off, and fill each strawberry with the mixture.
  • Sprinkle crushed graham crackers on top of each filled strawberry.
  • Garnish with fresh mint leaves, if desired.
  • Chill the filled strawberries in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, use ripe strawberries and ensure cream cheese is softened properly. Experiment with flavored cheesecake mixes for variations.
