Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet with cooking spray.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or turkey until browned, then drain excess fat.
  • Stir in the taco seasoning and salsa, and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and place a spoonful of the meat mixture on the wider end of each triangle.
  • Top with shredded cheese and optional black olives, then roll them up tightly.

Baking

  • Place rolled sticks seam-side down on the baking sheet, spaced apart.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown, keeping an eye on them.

Serving

  • Let them cool slightly, then garnish with chopped green onions and serve with salsa.
