  • 1 packet taco seasoning spicy, aromatic
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese creamy, rich
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese melty, stretchy
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough flaky, buttery
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes fresh, vibrant
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions sharp, refreshing
  • 1/4 cup sour cream for serving, creamy
  • to taste salsa for dipping, optional, zesty

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, draining excess fat.
  • Add the taco seasoning to the beef and follow package instructions.
  • On a floured surface, roll out the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  • Spoon a generous amount of seasoned beef onto the wide end of each triangle.
  • Layer on the cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, followed by diced tomatoes and green onions.
  • Roll each triangle from the wide end to the point, enclosing the filling.
  • Arrange the rolls on a greased baking sheet.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.

Serving

  • Serve warm with sour cream and salsa for dipping.

Notes

Make sure the crescent roll dough is at room temperature for easier handling. Avoid overstuffing the rolls to ensure they bake evenly.
