  • 1/2 cup milk To achieve creamy consistency.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuits For the flaky topping.
  • 1/2 cup melted butter To drizzle over biscuits.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, milk, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.

Assembling

  • Pour the chicken mixture into the greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Cut the refrigerated biscuits into quarters and scatter them over the top of the chicken mixture, pressing down slightly.
  • Drizzle the melted butter over the biscuit pieces.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until biscuits are golden brown and casserole is bubbling.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes
