Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cream together butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and fluffy.
  • Gradually mix in flour and salt until just combined. Fold in mini chocolate chips.
  • Prepare a 9-inch springform pan by lining its base with parchment paper.

Layering the Cake

  • Spread half of the chocolate chip ice cream into the pan and freeze for about 30 minutes.
  • Spread softened vanilla ice cream over the chocolate layer and return to freeze for another 30 minutes.
  • Crumble cookie dough over the vanilla ice cream and freeze for another 30 minutes.
  • Spread remaining chocolate chip ice cream over the cookie dough, followed by a final layer of vanilla ice cream. Freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Topping and Serving

  • Beat heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  • Spread whipped topping over the cake and garnish with mini chocolate chips and drizzle chocolate syrup.
