Preparation

  • In a separate large bowl, beat together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, and stir in the vanilla extract.

Mixing

  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk and hot coffee until just combined.

Baking
