Ingredients
  

For the cheese ball

  • 2 blocks 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped dill pickles
  • 2 tbsp pickle juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill (or 1 tsp dried)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

For coating

  • 1/2 cup crushed Ritz crackers or chopped pecans for coating

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, finely chopped dill pickles, and pickle juice.
  • Add in the garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, fresh dill, and chopped green onions. Mix until all the ingredients are fully combined and the mixture is smooth.
  • Shape the mixture into a ball using your hands or wrap it in plastic wrap and mold it.

Chilling

  • Place the cheese ball in the refrigerator for at least one hour to firm up.

Coating and Serving

  • Roll the cheese ball in the crushed Ritz crackers or chopped pecans until it is evenly coated.
  • Serve with crackers, pretzels, or fresh veggie sticks.

Notes
