Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease and flour a loaf pan.

Mixing Ingredients

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Stir until blended.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  • In another small bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon to create the cinnamon filling. Mix well.

Assembly

  • Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading it evenly.
  • Spoon half of the cinnamon filling over the batter and gently swirl it into the batter.
  • Repeat the process with the remaining batter and cinnamon filling.

Baking

  • Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • While the bread is baking, make the icing by whisking together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Once the bread has cooled slightly, drizzle the icing over the warm loaf.
