Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • In a medium saucepan, combine the Coca-Cola, vegetable oil, and cocoa powder. Stir over medium heat until it comes to a gentle boil, then remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Pour the hot Coca-Cola mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  • Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until the batter is smooth. Fold in mini marshmallows if desired.

Baking

Frosting
