Ingredients

For the crust

  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs for a sweet and crumbly crust
  • 0.25 cups sugar to add a touch of sweetness
  • 0.25 cups melted butter to bind the crust ingredients together

For the filling

  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened for a rich and creamy filling
  • 0.5 cups powdered sugar to sweeten the cream cheese filling
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for a hint of aromatic flavor

For the topping

  • 1 cup cherry jam to provide a fruity topping
  • 0.5 cups chopped pistachios for crunch and contrasting flavor
  • 0.5 cups fresh cherries, pitted and chopped to add brightness and freshness

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Lightly grease a mini tartlet pan or line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Stir until well combined.
  • Spoon the graham cracker mixture into each tartlet cavity and press it down firmly.
  • Bake the crusts for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown. Let them cool completely.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
  • Once the crusts are cooled, fill each tartlet shell with the cream cheese filling.
  • Top each tartlet with cherry jam, spreading it evenly.
  • Sprinkle chopped pistachios and finish with fresh cherries.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Use room temperature cream cheese for an easier filling blend. You can substitute cherry jam with other fruit preserves for a twist.
