Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, beat the egg whites with cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
  • In another bowl, blend the cottage cheese, egg yolks, and salt until smooth.
  • Gently fold the cottage cheese mixture into the egg whites without deflating the mixture.
  • Spoon the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet in rounded dollops.

Baking

  • Slide the baking sheet into the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown.

Notes

Always use room temperature eggs for better whipping. Ensure mixing bowl is grease-free and avoid overmixing the batter.
