  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Drizzled on top for richness.

  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional) For topping, adds gooey goodness.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare your loaf pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped onion, egg, milk, fresh parsley, and salt and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Transfer the mixture to your prepared loaf pan, shaping it into a loaf shape.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the top of the meatloaf.

Cooking

  • Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until cooked through with an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • If using mozzarella cheese, sprinkle it on top during the last 5 minutes of baking.
  • Once baked, let the meatloaf rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.

Serving

  • Slice and serve, garnished with fresh parsley for added color and flavor.

Notes

Consider mixing in some chopped spinach or finely grated zucchini for nutrition. For spice, add red pepper flakes. Experiment with different cheeses for unique flavors.
