Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and cream cheese until smooth. Add the granulated sugar and brown sugar, beating until light and fluffy.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract, and beat until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  • Gently fold in the Reese’s Pieces and chopped Peanut Butter Cups.

Baking

  • Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden and the centers are set.
  • Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For a more intense peanut butter flavor, add a tablespoon or two of peanut butter to the wet mixture. Drizzling melted chocolate on top is a fun twist. Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature for a smooth batter.
