Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter and sugar mixture, mixing until glossy and smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until a soft dough forms.
  • Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thickness.

Baking
