Ingredients
  

For the Cake

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix Plus ingredients needed for the mix, usually water, eggs, and oil

For the Filling

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk 14 oz
  • 1 jar caramel sauce 12 oz

For the Topping

  • 1.5 cups whipped topping
  • 1 cup Heath toffee bits Crushed
  • 0.5 cup chocolate chips Optional

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to the temperature indicated on the cake mix box.
  • Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to the package instructions.
  • Pour the batter into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and bake according to package directions.
  • Once baked, let it cool for about 10 minutes.
  • Poke holes all over the top of the cake, about 1 inch apart.
  • Mix sweetened condensed milk and caramel sauce together until smooth.
  • Pour the mixture evenly over the cake.
  • Let the cake cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Serving

  • Spread whipped topping evenly over the cake.
  • Sprinkle crushed Heath toffee bits and chocolate chips on top.
  • Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

For added flavor, drizzle chocolate syrup on top or use flavored cake mixes. Serve with ice cream or fresh berries.
