  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce/mirin

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, and a pinch of pepper. Set it aside for later use.
  • Over medium-high heat in a large skillet, melt the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about half a minute.
  • Add the bite-sized chicken pieces to the skillet and toss them to coat in the melted butter and garlic.
  • Pour in the previously prepared sauce over the chicken, ensuring every piece is well-coated.
  • Continue to stir-fry for about 5 minutes until the sauce has simmered down and the chicken is seared to perfection.
  • If desired, drizzle with sesame oil before serving hot.
