  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 small bunch fresh parsley, chopped

Wonton Wrappers

For Frying

Instructions

Prepare the Filling

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the crumbled feta cheese, ricotta cheese, and softened cream cheese until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • Incorporate the honey, followed by the red pepper flakes, olive oil, garlic powder, chopped parsley, and season with salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Assemble the Wontons

  • Lay a wonton wrapper flat on a clean surface. Place about 1 tablespoon of filling in the center.
  • Moisten the edges with water to help seal them, then fold the wrapper in half to form a triangle shape, pressing out any air and crimping the edges securely.

Fry the Wontons

  • Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan to around 350°F (175°C).
  • Carefully place the wonton rolls in the hot oil, frying for approximately 2-3 minutes until golden brown; turn occasionally.
  • Remove the rolls with a slotted spoon and let them drain on paper towels to absorb excess oil.

Serve

  • Serve warm, drizzled with extra honey and garnished with a sprinkle of fresh parsley.

Notes

For extra creaminess, mix different cheeses. To bake instead of fry, brush with olive oil and bake at 400°F (200°C) until crispy. Prepare filling a day in advance for convenience.
