  • 1 tsp salt Enhances natural flavors
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper Adds warmth
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder Aromatic flavor

For the Voodoo Sauce

  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing Creamy and tangy
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce For heat
  • 1 tbsp honey Balances the heat
  • 1 tbsp chopped green onions For garnish

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Wash and peel the russet potatoes if desired; cut them into uniform fries for even cooking.
  • In a large mixing bowl, toss the fries with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.

Cooking

  • Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  • Bake the fries for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • While the fries bake, prepare the Voodoo sauce by combining ranch dressing, hot sauce, and honey in a small bowl. Whisk until smooth.
  • Once the fries are golden and crispy, remove from the oven and drizzle generously with the Voodoo sauce.
  • Sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

To ensure crispiness, don't overcrowd the fries on the baking sheet. Also, allow fries to cool slightly before adding sauce for better flavor separation.
