  • Form the mixture into small patties, approximately 2-3 inches in diameter, yielding about eight patties.

Cooking

  • Heat one tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Once the butter is sizzling, carefully add the crab cakes.
  • Cook them for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  • Transfer the crab cakes to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Notes
