  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups Minute Rice (preferably brown) Adds a nutty flavor
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup Rich and creamy
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup Earthy and savory
  • 1 can water Use the soup can to measure
  • 1 tablespoon butter For greasing your baking pan
  • 1 envelope Lipton Onion Soup mix Adds a zesty layer of flavor

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Using the 1 tablespoon of butter, grease a 9 x 13 baking pan.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, and 1 can of water. Stir in the Minute Rice until everything is mixed well.
  • Pour the rice mixture into the buttered pan, spreading it evenly.
  • Place the boneless chicken breasts on top of the rice mixture.
  • Evenly sprinkle the Lipton Onion Soup mix over the chicken breasts.
  • Cover the pan with aluminum foil.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 to 1.5 hours, or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked.

Notes

Tips: Add diced vegetables or shredded cheese during baking for extra flavor. The casserole can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated.
