Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large pot or skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sliced mushrooms, and sauté until the mushrooms are tender and garlic is fragrant, about 5 minutes.

Cooking

  • Add the chicken or vegetable broth and heavy cream to the pot. Stir until well combined and bring the mixture to a boil.
  • Introduce the pasta to the pot, lower the heat to medium-low, and cook while stirring occasionally until the pasta is al dente and has absorbed most of the liquid (approximately 10-12 minutes).
  • Once the pasta reaches the desired doneness, stir in the fresh spinach and allow it to wilt, which should take about 2-3 minutes.
  • Include the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until it's melted and consistently mixed throughout the dish.
  • Season accordingly with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes, if desired.

Serving
