Cheesecake Glaze

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your donut pan.
  • In a medium bowl, mix all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  • In another bowl, whisk the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Gradually combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
  • Sprinkle in the cinnamon and fold in the peach pie filling until evenly distributed.
  • Fill each donut well about two-thirds full.

Baking

  • Bake donuts for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Glazing

  • In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  • Once the donuts have cooled, dip the tops into the cheesecake glaze.

Notes

Consider adding a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg on top of the glaze for an extra flavor burst. Fresh sliced peaches, chopped pecans, or walnuts can also enhance the presentation and taste. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
