Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, heat 1 tbsp of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
  • Stir in the cooked beef, oregano, garlic powder, chili powder (if using), and salt. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes and then remove from heat.
  • Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a large rectangle.
  • Spread the beef mixture evenly along the center of the dough, then top with provolone and Parmesan cheese.
  • Fold the dough over the filling to create a long stuffed breadstick. Pinch the edges to seal, then slice into 6-8 equal pieces.

Baking

  • Arrange the stuffed breadsticks on a parchment-lined baking sheet, brush with remaining olive oil, and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes.
  • Allow the breadsticks to cool slightly before serving with marinara or cheese sauce for dipping.

Notes

Ensure dough is at room temperature before rolling out. Oil fingers lightly when sealing breadsticks, and vent dough slightly for even baking. Allow cooling before serving to set the cheese.
