For the topping

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and the undrained can of crushed pineapple.
  • Using an electric mixer, beat on medium speed until smooth for about 2-3 minutes.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.

Baking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan.

Frosting

  • In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
