Noodles and Seasoning

Instructions
 

Prepare Soup Base

  • In a large bowl, mix the 14 oz. can of beef broth, beefy onion soup mix, cream of celery or mushroom soup, and minced garlic until well combined.

Slow Cook Beef

  • Place the beef roast into a slow cooker (5-quart or larger).
  • Pour the prepared soup mixture over the roast, ensuring the beef is well-coated.
  • Cover the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 8 hours or overnight until the meat is tender.

Final Cooking Steps

  • Shred the beef directly in the slow cooker using two forks.
  • Add 6-8 cups of beef broth or water depending on your preferred consistency.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for an additional 8 hours.
  • One hour before serving, stir in the frozen egg noodles and add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Increase the heat to HIGH and cook for an additional hour, or until the noodles are tender.

Notes

For the best flavor, use bone-in beef roast for richness. Marinate beef overnight in broth mixture for more depth. Add red pepper flakes or hot sauce for a spicy kick. Feel free to add chopped vegetables like carrots or celery for added nutrition. Taste and adjust seasoning before serving.
