Ingredients
  

For the Ramen

  • 1 block ramen noodle (or 2 for larger portions)
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk or half & half for creaminess
  • 1 tbsp butter lending richness to the broth
  • 1 tbsp oil essential for sautéing
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced for robust flavor
  • 1 small onion, finely diced to add sweetness
  • ¼ cup red bell pepper, chopped colorful and crunchy

For the Shrimp and Sausages

  • 12–14 medium shrimp, fresh succulent
  • 2 pieces jalapeño cheddar sausages, sliced for a spicy kick
  • 2 pieces soft-boiled eggs creamy and rich
  • 1 jalapeño thinly sliced for added zest
  • 2 tbsp green onions, chopped for garnish

For Seasoning

  • 1 tsp paprika for deep, smoky flavor
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning for a southern touch
  • ½ tsp garlic powder for extra flavor
  • ½ tsp chili powder for heat
  • 1 tsp soy sauce for depth
  • 1 tsp chili oil (optional, for extra spice)
  • Salt and pepper to taste for seasoning

For Creaminess

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese melty and gooey
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese enhancing texture and flavor

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Season the fresh shrimp with paprika, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the shrimp for about 2 minutes on each side. Set aside.

Cooking

  • In the same skillet, sauté the sliced jalapeño cheddar sausages until browned.
  • In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic, diced onion, and red bell pepper, sautéing until fragrant.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and soy sauce, bringing it to a gentle simmer.
  • Stir in the milk, cream cheese, and shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
  • Add the ramen noodles to the pot and cook for about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Once cooked, return the shrimp and sausages to the pot and mix everything together.

Serving

  • Serve the ramen in bowls, topped with soft-boiled eggs, fresh jalapeño slices, and green onions. Drizzle with chili oil if desired.

Notes

For a firmer noodle, cook the ramen separately. Add more vegetables for nutritional benefits. Adjust spice levels according to preference.
